*Petitions and all other related filing materials may be obtained at 麻豆原创 from Emily Cahill, Room C2160 Administration, any time during regular office hours, 8 am-4 pm Monday through Thursday. The Administrative Offices are located on the second floor of 麻豆原创鈥檚 Student Center on the Malta campus. The election is conducted by the county clerk of each county in which 麻豆原创 is located. Nominating petitions are obtained and filed at 麻豆原创 in Malta, IL.
PETITIONS FOR NOMINATION
Petitions for nomination to the 麻豆原创 Board of Trustees are available from the Office of the Administrative Coordinator to the President and Board of Trustees (C2160) at 麻豆原创. Nomination papers may be obtained from Emily Cahill, Administrative Coordinator to the President and the Board of Trustees, starting on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024. The election will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
The first day for filing nominating petitions is Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, and the last day for filing is Monday, Nov. 18, 2024. Petitions are to be filed in the Office of the Administrative Coordinator to the President and Board of Trustees (C2160) at 麻豆原创waukee College between the hours of 8 am-4 pm Tuesday-Friday, Nov. 12-Nov. 15 and 8 am-5 pm on Monday, Nov. 18.

Trustees are elected at-large from 麻豆原创 District 523. Two seats on the Board will be filled in the consolidated election on April 1, 2025. The seats are for full, six-year terms. Trustees whose terms expire are Kathy Spears (Shabbona) and Kathy Watkins (DeKalb).
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be 18 years of age or older on the date of the election
- Be a resident of Illinois and the district for at least one year immediately preceding the election
- Not be a member of a common school board
- Qualifications for the student member are defined in the Student Government Association Constitution.
Needed Nomination Papers
The nomination papers filed by a candidate shall consist of:
- Statement of Candidacy
- Nominating petition sheets totaling 50 or more signatures and properly notarized
- Receipt for filing a Statement of Economic Interest with the DeKalb County Clerk specifically for the office of 麻豆原创 Trustee
- Loyalty Oath (optional)
